Entry Procedures and Fees

ENTRY AND START PROCEDURES

  1. Obtain Conwy Ascent details and entry cards from the Race Organiser or print yourself an entry card (You will need Acrobat Reader to view and print it. You can download a free copy direct from www.Adobe.com.)
  2. Fill in the Conwy Ascent entry card.
  3. Send card and fee to the Race Organiser (including a copy of your BCU/WCA/SCA/CANI or affiliated club membership card to avoid having to pay for a day ticket)
    Entries to be received by Friday 13th June.
  4. Arrive and check in in time for the muster and briefing, after organising your transport from Dolgarrog for the end of the race.

ENTRY FEES

£6.00 per seat for seniors, £5.50 for juniors (U18).

Day Ticket Any paddler who is not either a member of WCA, BCU, SCA etc or a member of a club affiliated to one of these organisations will need to buy a Day Ticket (£2.50). This is for insurance purposes so to avoid having to pay for a day ticket please provide a membership card or other confirmation of club membership. This applies to both tour and race.
NO CARD - NO DISCOUNT !

Late entries will be accepted after 13th June, up to 30 mins before respective start times on the Conwy Ascent day.
An additional late entry charge of £2 per seat will apply.

Cheques or postal orders to be made payable to CONWY ASCENT. Post dated cheques will not be accepted.
Please enclose a SAE if you require confirmation of entry.

RETIREMENTS
All entrants retiring from the event MUST report their name and event number to either a boat marshal or the control tent at the finish at Dolgarrog. This responsibility rests with the group leaders where organised groups are concerned.
