Hut Keys.
3/Jul/2002 The hut was broken into last weekend, and the lock was smashed. We have fitted a new lock, but your old key will no longer work. We have had new keys cut, so could keyholders contact Penny to get their new one.

Friday Evening Timetrials
Timetrials start on Friday 5 April 2002. For the first few weeks they will take place at 6pm, then from 19 April onwards they will be at 7pm. These times are ‘on the water’ so please allow enough time beforehand to get kitted up.
Non members are welcome to bring their own boats and join in.
Timetrials consist of either one or two laps from Benarth slipway to the marina and back, and take about 20 or 40 minutes for an average paddler in a racing or fast touring style boat.

Tuesday Evenings
From Tuesday 2 April 2002 onwards at 7pm on the water. We aim to hold a technique and fitness training session every Tuesday for those who want it. Anyone not on the water by 7pm misses the chance of joining in. They also miss the chance of being escorted under the bridge by the training group - see the next paragraph.

If You Don’t Want To Train
Training is optional but recreational paddlers also need to be on the water by 7pm so that they can form a group for safety and sociability. The estuary through the harbour may not be quite so scenic as upstream but it is still a very enjoyable area to paddle.

New Paddlers
If you know anyone who wants to come down for the first time please ask them to arrive at 6.30pm on a Tuesday and to let us know beforehand. This way someone can meet them and explain our set up before everyone else arrives.

Meeting Place
Scout hut at the right hand end of Morfa Bach car park (behind Billingtons garage) or on the water by Benarth Road slipway.

Contacts
For further details or to arrange to come for the first time please phone Penny Wingfield, on 01492 650989
